How We Doin? Welcome back to my blog! My name is Ryan B. Hebert, I go by Ryan, and it's a pleasure to have you reading today. From returning readers to new ones, welcome! I'll be writing about a whole assortment of topics today, that have to do with my entire year. Get ready, cause a here we go! [Just a small note before we do get started ;  I had planned several posts throughout this year, and none of them made it too far past some rough drafts. However, I feel that now is a time to write something because I feel I'm in a place to do such a thing. I want to thank everyone who was reading and keeping up with me. I was reaching 250-300 views per post. I'm grateful for your time and energy to read what I post. Thank you. ] Where  to begin. I left you all in suspense with my show, Waiting For Godot, happening in early March. It was a success and was the experience of a lifetime. I loved my cast, and I didn't even know what this opportunity would bring me the fo...

Hey, everyone! Welcome back to my blog! My name is Ryan Hebert! It's a NEW YEAR , and I guess you could say a new me as well!!! Lots to talk about today so let us get right into it!  To give a slight warning to those of you who read this for personal matters and such, I am about to go on a lot of rants about my Pokémon success and career at the moment so if you don't want to read about that part of my life, you can go to the bottom. If not, sit back, relax, and enjoy the text.  First of all, I attempted the Pokemon Trading Card Game again today for the first time in 3 years. I once played the card game, semi-competitively, but I never kept up due to the high demand of buying SO many cards. When you start out and have nothing, you really have nothing. At this point in time, I've amassed a nice collection of cards known as "staples" that I am able to easily build decks with. I went 1-5 at the tournament today and I could not be happier. I went, and I di...

Hey there everyone! Welcome back to another post from yours truly! If you are new here, Welcome! My name is Ryan Hebert. I am a Sophomore at DePaul University studying Theatre Arts and Political Science. This is my blog where I discuss topics such as Theatre, My Life, and Pokémon! If you have been here before, WELCOME! So glad to have you back! Without further ado, let's get started! I have been heading to the gym for 8 weeks now. I feel great, and I am looking great as well. I have some goals for the future. The main goal is to lose 30 more pounds by the end of the school year. I cannot wait to be back at school to continue this goal. When I head home today, I will not have access to the gym I have at school, but I will be doing my best to eat right and to keep my crunches going. When I started working out, I did 30 crunches and my abs were killing me. Yesterday, I completed 300 crunches, and still had some energy to do more. I also completed 3 miles today, in 45 minutes...

Hey there! Welcome to my blog! My name is Ryan Hebert. It's been a little while since I've posted on here, so welcome back everyone! If you are new here, WELCOME! I am so glad to have you here! I am a Sophomore at DePaul University, livin' it up in Chicago, IL.  I talk about what's going on in my life in regards to gaming and theatre, and occasionally something more personal. Now without further ado, let's get started! This year I celebrated Thanksgiving with my family in Massachusetts. It was a pretty great Thanksgiving. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was calm and inviting, and the Gingerbread house making was divine. Lots of candy and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed Thanksgiving this year. In past years it has been a little hectic or crazy, but this year, it was really nice. I also got a nice picture of myself. Check it out. Now while Thanksgiving was the reason why I went back home for a small period of time, I worked at Lindt back in Massachusetts....

Hey, there everyone! Welcome back! For all of you who have been here before! For those of you who are new, Welcome! It is such a pleasure to have you here. You may notice many Pugs on this blog, please enjoy them along with what I'm writing. They are complementary to different parts of the blog. Now without further ado, we're off! The time has finally come where I will be on the air again, or at least on the internet again! I have applied to be a DJ at the DePaul Radio station and I got accepted, so that means your boy Ryan is gonna be back to play music for all to hear! I am so excited to be given this opportunity for a few reasons. First, music is awesome, and I love it. Secondly, I did radio in high school for all four years I was in high school, so I really miss the opportunity to go into the studio and actually have a show! Third, The Bird's Nest...

Hey everyone! Welcome to my blog! My name is Ryan Hebert, and I'm a Sophomore at DePaul University! For all of you coming here for the first time, welcome! I'm so glad to have you here today! If you've read my blog before, it is such a pleasure to have you back again! Without further ado, let's get started!!! For all of you who want to check in on me, I've been doing better lately. For all of you who are new, HERE is a link that explains what's going on.  Now if you've just read that or have already done so, here are a few reasons why things are going better. If you know me from when I was in high school, I was a radio DJ at WIQH for the four years I was at Concord Carlisle. Last year I took a break from Radio because they refused to accept my radio show idea. They were going for shows that played one type of genre of music and it did not fit my style. So I was recently inspired to re-apply at Radio DePaul, and I was sent an ecstatic ema...

Hey, y'all welcome back to another post from yours truly! I am so grateful for you to return once again to read up on what's going in my life. If you're new, welcome, my name is Ryan Hebert. I am a Sophomore at DePaul University, in Chicago, IL. I am studying to be a Theatre Arts Directing Major with either a Political Science Double Major or Minor. I am also a Pro-Pokemon Player looking to make the World Championships this year, or at the very least, attend a number of regional events! Without further ado, let's get started! (PS I love pugs) I spent my last month of the summer at Lindt Chocolate in Kittery, ME. I met a few characters while I was working there and I wanted to speak on each of them. I want to speak about them all because I went in, did my job, and left. For this part of my story, they were the ones that shine more brightly than myself. I first met Ron. How could I not meet him, since he was the store's main greeter. He was this very old man who...
