First Quarter @ The Theatre School at DePaul University

Hello friends! I understand that you may be auditioning for schools soon or applying for schools in such in your own college processes and I am here just to provide some insight on my experience with The Theatre School. I am currently a BFA Theatre Arts Student at DePaul University. Personally, I think of it as one of the most open and versatile degree's you can get here at The Theatre School. The first classes I have taken in my first quarter are: Intro to Production: Not your momma's production class! My class was taught by the one and only, Ernie Nolan. I am loving my living arrangement. If you are a prospective college student, looking at DePaul as a serious option, then I recommend, University Hall, the the most social and inviting dorm on campus. Not to mention that there is a wide array of students that live in this dorm. From Business ma...

Today I am speaking on the behalf of a show I am currently in named “Spamalot”.  if you are not familiar with the show, here is a little background on it. " Monty Python's Spamalot   is a  musical comedy  adapted from the 1975 film  Monty Python and the Holy Grail . Like the film, it is a highly irreverent parody of the  Arthurian Legend , but it differs from the film in many ways."( Wikipedia ) I plan to have photos up from the production process when the show goes up. I will be playing the role of King Arthur, A legendary king who brings a bunch of nights together to form the Knights of the Round Table. King Arthur then proceedes to search for the Holy Grail and then finds that his Grail, metaphorically, is to put on a Broadway show.  The show is jam-packed with references from other musicals, A lot of vulgar language, and a lot of dick jokes. Seriously, a lot of dick jokes. Aside...
