Faling at High-fives with a face palm

Today, Tonight I should say, I went to the Concord Carlisle's girls soccer game versus some other team.. Anyways the point is that as I was there I walked past a girl I knew and she tried to high-five me. Me not realizing that she was trying to do that; she brushed her hand against the side of my sweatshirt. After 2 seconds I realize that she has trying to high five me. FAIL to me. I was kind of embarrassed at this, but we all move on right? Besides that incident, not to much happened to me today, except hanging with my bestest friend Jeremy! We Played the best WII game known to man, SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL!!!!!!!!!! - It was a nice game :) . So we played that for a while and had fun, but the closest thing I did for theatre today was singing all the words my friend was singing. So going down the sidewalk in town I was singing every word, luckily no bad words, but who cares. So I did that and had fun. Then! I came back to the house, sat down at the computer, and wrote th...

Acting to suck up

Friday, which apparently is today, nobody told me! Was a great day for me. I got the grand prize in chorus, where my chorus teacher comes to my house, and makes me and 10 friends dinner. Idk who to have over, but I do Know it will be fun! What sucked was that people since then had been sucking up to me, and I was forced to act and say ,"I have no idea who is coming yet." Of course I do not know who's coming and hopefully that vent will be a fun! Any who since then I had learned how to do an automated show at the radio station, which I did for the first times! Also it will be on air October,29th,2012. From 6-7pm(1800-1900 hours). So tune in on Sunday (WIQH.org and stream it live online!) Other than that, my day was pleasant. The gods of Rome were nice and gave me another day in paradise. So for now and hopefully always- Ryan

Everyone can act(remake post due to accidental delete.)

Hey guys so in accidentally deleted the post, everyone can act. Basically I said that yes, some people can act, but for everyone to act, everyone must need the passion and feeling for acting. Not just feelings for feelings. So the answer is yes and no. Thanks- sry for the deleted post!

Influential actors to meeeeee. (Tune to bohemian rhapsody plays)

Today, was a nice day for me. The morning started out sucking because no-one in the class could get the Greek drama play(Oedipus Rex: Episition 1). So all the humor that I had found was only funny to me. :( Anyways the day continued on to c block with a dismisses class and then onto a mile run, which i did not like since I had and still have sore quads from the dancing practice coming up at school. Anyways I do that and make t it all the way to the end of the day. Finally making it to the end of the day, where I go to my new accappella group. Anyways during the practice I started thinking about actors who deserve to be recognized for what they've done and how they've influenced me. One of my favorite actors, William Shatner, is an iconic character most famous for his appearance in Star Trek. He also has been very famous for his spoken songs(they're really funny and good!) anyways he was number 1. Number 2 was Will Ferrel. Will has been a key influence to me. His George bus...

What kind of actor I am.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am Ryan, and I am an actor. There are a few important things to know about me. I love the feel of living in the moment. If you don't know what that feels like, do something risky, or something that will make you say, omg that was amazing! Living in the moment is what I love to do as an actor, and so should you! I Also always also love to get better at what I do. If someone points out something that I'm doing that's wrong or not right, I strive to make it better! One final thing is comedy. There I nothing I don't love more than being a a show meant for comedy. You want a Comedic line done? Why not have me do, that's what I do best(wink). Anyways, now you know about me, an amateur actor, looking a for a chance to laugh out loud, and Yolo, whatever the kids, like me,say today. Until next time- Ryan B Hebert PS: (Wink)

A day of dancing?

Hey y'all it's Ryan and today I was by myself, wandering afterschool what to do until, I stumble upon my friends Sarah and Lily. Both good friends of mine, and all of us being obsessed in acting. They are both in the fall play, and yours truly did not try out. So whatever you do, stop reading, say some curse word at me then continue reading this. Once you have cursed at me we will get back to the story. So I find lily and Sarah in the auditorium and Sarah is dancing the audition piece for our winter musical, A chorus line. Now I wander in, and am invited to practice the dance onstage. Of course being in the shape that I am, I am not able to dance well, or at all. I get a little bit of it, but it's a challenging dance. Anyways I give up in the 1st five minutes of practicing and just start acting and singing to 70's disco music. This was not funny to others so I stopped right away. To sum it all up, I had a good time with friends but a bad time with dancing. Dance is my p...

Monologues(are good) and dialogues(are evil)

Today I had my once a week comedy improv club, that is run by upperclassman that I am friends with. It's a club that should be at every school, it's hilarious. Anyways, today I went up to do a monologue in front of the people there(like 20 teens) and the monologue was about the high school men's bathrooms. I have to say, not to toot my own horn or anything, but i did pretty well and even managed to get some double meaning words in their like shit and crap. By the end of it people were laughing and having a good time. Now I just want to be clear, I'm not good at dialogues, in fact I'm horrible at them and do not like them at all. I preferably like to fly solo as much as possible like, 007. So yeah, it was an interesting day. I got to yell at the top of my lungs and people laughed at that. Honestly I am really nailing this comedy improv club. Stay tuned for another article soon! From the actor known as RBH

Experience is everything in newton south highschool

So I went to see Avenue Q yesterday at Newton south high-school in Newton,Massachusetts. I just have to say that the actors and singers were amazing and very talented. Before the show even started I saw that the theatre program was having a fundraiser. A mattress fundraiser. I was thinking how crazy this was, but then I found out why. It turns out that the newton south highschool theatre program "SouthStage" does not get any money WHATSOEVER! So they have the mattress sale to make some money. The show alone with props and stuff was over $5,000. They made the money from ticket sales and the fundraiser. That was when I realized why they had such an odd fundraiser. But I guess it works. I wish that they could get some extra money, if you care about theatre a lot, try to send them some money. They're called SouthStage so look it up online and see if you can donate somehow. Now on with the show. The show starts with some nice but very little choreography. It was pleasant and f...
