Rolling The Day Away

Image
On today's post, I talk about what happened during my day. So without further ado, here we go. This morning I left the house with my amazing girlfriend, Izzy, to go get breakfast. The day before we had gone to a nicer breakfast location. This morning, we were both good with some nice Dunkin Donuts. She had been recently given a ton of DD gift cards, so breakfast was on her this morning. The Dunkin Donuts location was extremely nice and cozy. We lucked out on sitting in the two black comfy leather chairs. We munched on our breakfast's, and then continued our day from there.  After Dunks, we headed to Walmart. She needed some lady things, and we both enjoyed going there. It gave us somewhere to go and something to do. You can do a lot in a Walmart, especially a Super Walmart. You can people watch, look at fun and cool items, and just have a good time with each other. After a trip to Walmart, we stopped at a local music store we had seen on the way to Walmart. All

School of Rock (What an Ironic Title hehe)

Welcome back everyone! I'm so glad you could join me here on Acting In The Groove today. My name is Ryan, and for those of you who do not know me, I am a nerd. Theatre nerd, super hero nerd, Pokemon nerd, all the nerds. Today I went to go see School of Rock (Youth Version) at the Ogunquit Playhouse!!! It was friggin amazing. Victor Tracey, Dewey Finn, good friend of mine, was perfect for the role. He possessed energy that was always bursting at the seams. He connected well with all of his other fellow castmates on stage. Emma Smith, a great friend of mine, played the role of Patty. An overbearing and abusive wife to Ned. She was committed to her character the entire show, and was just awesome. Her voice was fantastic as always! She actually just released her new Album, Compass! I am so excited to listen to it as well. Click HERE to go and check out her Album on Itunes, Spotify, etc. Taylor Hussey, I want to know this guy better! Holy crap, he killed it on the drums. Let me

Welcome back to my blog, bloggers, readers, and citizens of the world! If you are not familiar with me, my name is Ryan, and this is my blog. I'm an actor and a human being, as most of us are. Today i'm not talking on a subject that is very near and dear to my heart: POKEMON! Last year I attended the Pokemon World Championships in Boston, MA. I had a stellar time, and I made some fantastic friends along the way. I brought my hometown friends, Ian and Seth with me on different days. I then met a great guy named Warren whom I now live near. This year the Pokemon Championships are in San Francisco, CA, and I am not able to make it. Not to mention this happened: So it is kind of hard to attend unless you are an invited player, that is competing during the weekend. I did infact compete this season. I even bred my own Pokemon to use for competitive play! It takes many hours to complete a full team of 6 ready to go Pokemon. I did it all, and I was very happy wit

Adventure Is Out There (in Chicago)!

Welcome back! I have a life update for all you curious readers! In the most recent months before I graduated high school, I had to audition for colleges, for next year. If you were wondering what major I'm going for, I'm going for theatre!!! And, if you're wondering what the school I decided to go to, I chose to go blue, and go to DePaul University in Chicago! I'll be attending The Theatre School at DePaul University; a conservatory inside of a university. I'm ecstatic about attending in september, and I hope to keep writing blog posts while I'm there. To keep my sanity and to hopefully spread the word of what is to be a fantastic college experience. I chose to do a BA instead of a BFA during my initial application process. In the end I've decided to do a BFA at DePaul. Anyways, for the longest time,  I thought I was going to be doing a BA, so I applied to Boston College, The Juilliard School, New York University,  Sarah Lawrence College, University of
